Eliseo Claude could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Shi Bang Xiang made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Renátó Csernyi managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Jamala's supporters rose to their feet, but Renátó Csernyi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Frantzes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jakša Lalović made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sajones F.C.'s Ferruccio Chelodi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Sazon in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shi Bang Xiang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shi Bang Xiang made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Isaias Sazon sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Jamala's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliseo Claude was slow to take the kick. During this time Sajones F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Sazon got free with Shi Bang Xiang in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Sajones F.C.'s Isaias Sazon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shi Bang Xiang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Sajones F.C.'s corner Eliseo Claude fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Shi Bang Xiang quite easily take care of the ball. Pastor Frantzes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Martin in the 44th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sajones F.C. defense, Loco Martin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pastor Frantzes. The Sajones F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pastor Frantzes should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Isaias Sazon made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sajones F.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Long Chao Jun hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Sazon in the 57th minute of play forced FC Jamala's goalkeeper Shi Bang Xiang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Henning Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Sajones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Henning Eriksson came free, but Pastor Frantzes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sajones F.C.'s goalkeeper Pastor Frantzes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Sajones F.C.'s goalkeeper Pastor Frantzes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henning Eriksson. FC Jamala's Shi Bang Xiang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Raitin in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Hugo Raitin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shi Bang Xiang was relentless in the 81st minute of the game.
