Sletteenge's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wagn Nytoft in the 37th minute. Algot Sundin hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Grauholt in the 44th minute of play forced Los Del Kllejon FC's goalkeeper Americo Fidensio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Robin Leiholt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sletteenge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Del Kllejon FC the free kick. After 45 played minutes Sletteenge got a freekick which was hit by Robin Leiholt. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sletteenge's goalkeeper Gerhart Krainert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Los Del Kllejon FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sletteenge were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Algot Sundin to make the kick off. Sletteenge's Wagn Nytoft pulled a muscle in his back after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Fabrizio Di Lorenzo charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrizio Di Lorenzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torsten Akselvad in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Americo Fidensio saved Los Del Kllejon FC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ted Weye during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ted Weye hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The Sletteenge supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sletteenge would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
