István Török hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Eulalio Blai might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viktor Bálint. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eulalio Blai ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, Albino Canor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santos de Buenos Aires FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Albino Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viktor Bálint dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6.
Santos de Buenos Aires FC made a substitution. Raimundo Joey replaced Rafael Gipuzkoa. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for György Kaszás to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper Viktor Bálint, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teodosio James sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos de Buenos Aires FC made a substitution. Szilárd Müller's late challenge caught a Santos de Buenos Aires FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Szilárd Müller helped the player get up and apologised. Albino Canor struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Viktor Bálint didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos de Buenos Aires FC. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viktor Bálint showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Albino Canor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Bálint having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Albino Canor made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Szolnoki MÁV's Viktor Bálint tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Albino Canor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Bruno Cambiasso notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Szolnoki MÁV's Viktor Bálint. Viktor Bálint was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albino Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Szolnoki MÁV's Viktor Bálint proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Szolnoki MÁV from getting a goal against them. When Teodosio James came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Santos de Buenos Aires FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodosio James couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Santos de Buenos Aires FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Szolnoki MÁV.
