The referee ignored Lε COCO SρσяtiV's protests and gave Honorio Bernaldo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Honorio Bernaldo got a free kick in the 8th minute. Laureano Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robben Spoelberchs in the 9th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Gilberto Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wincent Dropinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Tiniebra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laureano Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Stefano, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Laureano Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Stefano in the 27th minute of play. Robben Spoelberchs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Laureano Matia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Robben Spoelberchs came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Laureano Matia could save by the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Lε COCO SρσяtiV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Castanheiro SC:s goal. Alfredo Stefano shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Laureano Matia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Lε COCO SρσяtiV from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Castanheiro SC's Elói Maranhense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Laureano Matia. Laureano Matia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Lε COCO SρσяtiV getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Marcial Ignado hit a great ball. With his leg Laureano Matia managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Castanheiro SC's Robben Spoelberchs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carmelo Tiniebra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laureano Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robben Spoelberchs in the 50th minute of play. Castanheiro SC's Wincent Dropinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Tiniebra in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Stefano in the 55th minute of play forced Lε COCO SρσяtiV's goalkeeper Laureano Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Matia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robben Spoelberchs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laureano Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Prestes in the 64th minute of the match. When Luís Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Castanheiro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Prestes couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Prestes in the 67th minute of play forced Lε COCO SρσяtiV's goalkeeper Laureano Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Wincent Dropinski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 74 minutes into the match, Lε COCO SρσяtiV's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Stefano came free, but Laureano Matia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Alfredo Stefano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Matia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes, José Pedro Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castanheiro SC and the Lε COCO SρσяtiV players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Pedro Carneiro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Lε COCO SρσяtiV's Geraldo Bezerra was substituted for Carmelo Tiniebra. After 78 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Carneiro. In the 83rd match minute, Lε COCO SρσяtiV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Stor to maneuver through the defense. Luís Prestes took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laureano Matia. Laureano Matia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Laureano Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Prestes in the 87th minute of play. Melchor Favila kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Alfredo Stefano missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 92 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Laureano Matia right hand side. Laureano Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Prestes in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Castanheiro SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
