C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Almeida came free, but Guga Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute AnÐaRaHy were awarded a corner. Vânderson Falcão went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led AnÐaRaHy's Vânderson Falcão to fire away a dangerous shot which Guga Tavares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, AnÐaRaHy's Cyprian Gierlach got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Abel de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel de Lara in the 13th minute of the match. Henrique Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guga Tavares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Bruno Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldinho Romero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bruno Cruz firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 24th minute of the match, Ronaldinho Romero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bruno Cruz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Henrique Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. AnÐaRaHy's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guga Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, AnÐaRaHy's Bruno Cruz got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Gierlach in the 33rd minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Almeida came free, but Guga Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guga Tavares came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by AnÐaRaHy's Henrique Almeida. But to his dismay, Henrique Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bruno Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

AnÐaRaHy's attentive Adrian Sundström managed to snatch the ball when Arvin Larsson made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Henrique Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Jack Sparrow was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AnÐaRaHy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexilhão F. C. the free kick. In the 57th minute, Jack Sparrow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vânderson Falcão got free with Guga Tavares in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Mexilhão F. C.'s Arvin Larsson got a free kick in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mexilhão F. C.'s zone, Henrique Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guga Tavares came out of the goal and Henrique Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Almeida in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guga Tavares saved Mexilhão F. C. from getting behind. The supporters of AnÐaRaHy booed when Mexilhão F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Angelsø didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mexilhão F. C.'s zone, Henrique Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guga Tavares came out of the goal and Henrique Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rdth minute of the game Henrique Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute Abel de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guga Tavares was a little too slow when Henrique Almeida got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-3. The audience was convinced that Henrique Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guga Tavares was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Guga Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. It was a well-played corner which Pedro Luiz Reis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AnÐaRaHy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
