The supporters of Estrela Vermelha booed when Kernsdorf SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Kempka didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kernsdorf SSA's zone, Ronaldão Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piotr Topolski came out of the goal and Ronaldão Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Guerreiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Enrique Antunes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Estrela Vermelha's Enrique Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Estrela Vermelha from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the game, Kernsdorf SSA's Zygmunt Pieknik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Antunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Enrique Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Pietrowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomé Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. José Guerreiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Antunes having to make a save. Tomé Fantini struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Piotr Topolski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrela Vermelha. After 28 minutes, Vitinho Quirino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estrela Vermelha and the Kernsdorf SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enrique Antunes was a little too slow when José Guerreiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 5-0. With a little luck, Estrela Vermelha's Enrique Antunes got control of the ball when Filip Pietrowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Estrela Vermelha's goalkeeper Enrique Antunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Guerreiro. The crowd rose to their feet as Kernsdorf SSA's José Guerreiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Antunes. That made the score 6-0 after 40 minutes of play. In the 43rd minute, Kernsdorf SSA's Zygmunt Pieknik ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enrique Antunes. Enrique Antunes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. After some careless play in the Estrela Vermelha defense, José Guerreiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Antunes. The Estrela Vermelha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Antunes should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Ronaldão Oliveira made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Guerreiro in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Antunes saved Estrela Vermelha from getting behind. 57 minutes into the game, Arkadiusz Kajdasz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kernsdorf SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estrela Vermelha the free kick. After some careless play in the Estrela Vermelha defense, José Guerreiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Antunes. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Guerreiro couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Kernsdorf SSA were the better team. Kernsdorf SSA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
