Paulistano - DMZ booed when Tallboda Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximilian Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frans Billström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Prestes in the 19th minute of the match. Paulistano - DMZ's Jorge Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Stenqvist in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Martin Lang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Campos. A.C. Paulistano - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Lang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 46 minutes into the game, Martin Lang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tallboda Gunners's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C. Paulistano - DMZ the free kick. Frans Billström made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Zé Pedro Prestes sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Linus Stenqvist to make the kick off. Silvério de Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Paulistano - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense.
