Ruperto Txomin hit a great ball. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Hernando in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gervásio Severiano in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Naldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the game, Gervásio Severiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VB-Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Calamar Saavedra the free kick. Joaquim de Barros in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bonifacio Naldo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bonifacio Naldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 41st minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeronimo Birila to make the kick off. Armindo Salgado came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Jeronimo Birila. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Birila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalkeeper Bonifacio Naldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bonifacio Naldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Birila came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by VB-Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabio Hernando was slow to take the kick. During this time Atletico Calamar Saavedra's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Atletico Calamar Saavedra's corner Fabio Hernando fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Armindo Salgado quite easily take care of the ball. Bonifacio Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atletico Calamar Saavedra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luís Braga was slow to take the kick. During this time VB-Team's players had a chance to rest. The corner led VB-Team's Yu Ke Hong to fire away a dangerous shot which Bonifacio Naldo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Birila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VB-Team the free kick. After a rather tough play, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Jeronimo Birila got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Ke Hong in the 81st minute of play forced Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalkeeper Bonifacio Naldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Hernando's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Armindo Salgado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 88th minute, but Armindo Salgado got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving VB-Team hanging dry this time. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabio Hernando in the 89th minute. A nice corner shot did that Fabio Hernando got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Armindo Salgado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 90th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Caeiro to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Naldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 93rd minute of play. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Bonifacio Naldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Caeiro in the 96th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
