A nice corner shot did that Marcos Acuña got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Artur Boruc quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Andy Symons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. C.A.Esparta's Evelio Salvadore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Esparta from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd match minute, C.A.Esparta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Wawrukiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Salvadore made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Klas Jansson sent off a good shot on target. Joga Bonito were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after C.A.Esparta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alejo Eleazar took the corner. Artur Boruc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonito's Alejo Eleazar got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Joga Bonito's zone, Oswaldo Junior stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Boruc came out of the goal and Oswaldo Junior tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evelio Salvadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Eleazar in the 83rd minute of play. In the 89th minute, Oswaldo Junior made a precise shot to the right of Artur Boruc. Joga Bonito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Evelio Salvadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Symons in the 92nd minute of the match. Chants of C.A.Esparta echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Joga Bonito had held the ball for most of the match.
