The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Héctor Barra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbigniew Dziurowicz's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Villa got free with Roland Klimkiewicz in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roland Klimkiewicz made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when David Villa sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Alejandro Martxelin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roland Klimkiewicz, 1-0. Héctor Barra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincent Rode in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, CRS Pogoń Barlinek's Roland Klimkiewicz got control of the ball when David Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Capo de Provincia's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Duszenski came free, but Héctor Barra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincent Rode in the 28th minute of play forced Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper Héctor Barra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alejandro Martxelin came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Capo de Provincia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Martxelin couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, CRS Pogoń Barlinek's goalkeeper Roland Klimkiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Villa. In the 35th minute, David Villa made a precise shot to the right of Roland Klimkiewicz. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 44th minute of the match Capo de Provincia got a corner. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. César Pretot ran over to the corner to take the kick. Roland Klimkiewicz made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when David Villa sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Wincent Rode made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Capo de Provincia's Héctor Barra got control of the ball when Wincent Rode tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wincent Rode got free with Héctor Barra in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Villa in the 55th minute of play forced CRS Pogoń Barlinek's goalkeeper Roland Klimkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland Klimkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Martxelin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogumil Pochorylo in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Héctor Barra saved Capo de Provincia from getting behind. With 66 minutes on the clock, Gaston Mon commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Capo de Provincia's Luis Jiménez was substituted for Alejandro Martxelin. 65 minutes into the game, one of CRS Pogoń Barlinek:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Capo de Provincia's Héctor Barra got control of the ball when Wincent Rode tried to sneak it across the goal line. Héctor Barra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincent Rode, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's Bogumil Pochorylo got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Capo de Provincia were awarded a corner. César Pretot went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in César Pretot almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CRS Pogoń Barlinek's Roland Klimkiewicz did a great save. In the 92nd minute, Qiao Qi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Capo de Provincia's César Pretot managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Herbert Duszenski in the 96 minute of the game. In the 97th minute, David Villa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capo de Provincia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the CRS Pogoń Barlinek players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Capo de Provincia.
