Gonzalo Franco hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Argider in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamal Pahlevi saved Tirant lo Blanch from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Argider had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kamal Pahlevi. Tirant lo Blanch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rigoberto Argider was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 39th minute, García Diez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Argider blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kamal Pahlevi having to make a save. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Thibault Moon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kamal Pahlevi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 53 minutes Tirant lo Blanch's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thibault Moon who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Jonas Tingelholm managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 56 minutes into the match, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Rigoberto Argider sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kamal Pahlevi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jefferson Pinheiro made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Carmen Paniagua however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Tirant lo Blanch's Iván Arraz got a free kick in the 79th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Tirant lo Blanch's Carmen Paniagua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Leheren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 90 played minutes Tirant lo Blanch got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Pinheiro. In the 91st minute, Bernardo España hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thibault Moon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Rigoberto Argider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
