Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesario Irazu in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edwin van der Sar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edwin van der Sar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beto Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Beto Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Edwin van der Sar. União Sport Clube Paredes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 26th match minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. Jerónimo Furtado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Jannes Ruttens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. União Sport Clube Paredes's Jerónimo Furtado was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 46th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicky Bryson made a kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Jerónimo Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, União Sport Clube Paredes's Jerónimo Furtado got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute of the match, Cesario Irazu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edwin van der Sar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nicky Bryson in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Alexandre Santana took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jannes Ruttens. Jannes Ruttens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerónimo Furtado in the 85th minute of play. Edwin van der Sar came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Pipon Pipon's Cesario Irazu. But to his dismay, Cesario Irazu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. 94 minutes into the game, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Lanny Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edwin van der Sar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Jannes Ruttens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerónimo Furtado in the 98th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C. A. Pipon Pipon eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
