The supporters of MINEIROS booed when Green Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venedikt Semenov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Mário Maradona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Han Xiao Ting was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harun Mustafa in the 10th minute of play forced MINEIROS's goalkeeper Thommy Jadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MINEIROS's Thommy Jadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsigmond Tímár in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Green Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Géza Tótfalusi to maneuver through the defense. Green Zombies's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Mário Maradona scored to the left of an out of position Han Xiao Ting, making the score, 2-0. In the 23rd minute Harun Mustafa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thommy Jadis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MINEIROS's zone, Harun Mustafa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thommy Jadis came out of the goal and Harun Mustafa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute Mário Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Han Xiao Ting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 28 in the game by Mário Maradona from a close distance when the talented Han Xiao Ting managed to make a qualified save. Green Zombies's players were relieved. Mário Maradona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Han Xiao Ting read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Green Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Magos to maneuver through the defense.

Harun Mustafa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roland Magos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ricardo Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot. MINEIROS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Custódio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Han Xiao Ting breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Harun Mustafa came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Green Zombies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harun Mustafa couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Green Zombies's goalkeeper Han Xiao Ting, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Harun Mustafa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MINEIROS made a substitution. Humberto Severo replaced Clóvis Rezende. With a little luck, MINEIROS's Thommy Jadis got control of the ball when Walter Carter tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walter Carter got free with Thommy Jadis in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thommy Jadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harun Mustafa in the 80th minute of the match. Harun Mustafa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Green Zombies's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
