Barbaros Bozbey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicanor Honesto in the 7th minute. 13 minutes in the game Joel Santana did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Miodrag Belo. Isaac Gustafsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Barbaros Bozbey made a huge save. A collision led to CAI NEUQUEN getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Raul Heriberto hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Mendonça in the 20th minute of play forced CAI NEUQUEN's goalkeeper Ermegildo Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Geovani Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermegildo Horado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The corner led The Cavern Club's Yoel Liñan to fire away a dangerous shot which Ermegildo Horado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match The Cavern Club got a corner. CAI NEUQUEN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yoel Liñan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Barbaros Bozbey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Gustafsson in the 34th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Joel Santana in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Cavern Club's Tobias Otsoa. Ermegildo Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Mendonça in the 38th minute of the match. Geovani Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Horado having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's Gonzalo Vergaray sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermegildo Horado narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The Cavern Club made a substitution. Jacob Albuquerque replaced Geovani Mendonça. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacob Albuquerque to make the kick off. The supporters of The Cavern Club booed when CAI NEUQUEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Cavern Club's Barbaros Bozbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Unax in the 64th minute of play. Barbaros Bozbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Unax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacob Albuquerque received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ermegildo Horado came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacob Albuquerque slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 75th minute. The throw-in from Kahlil Ardiansyah in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Cavern Club's Santiago Emesto. Ermegildo Horado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Ermegildo Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Albuquerque in the 86th minute of the match. Ermegildo Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Albuquerque in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the game Kahlil Ardiansyah made a throw-in which Isaac Gustafsson played forward. After some careless play in the The Cavern Club defense, Isaac Gustafsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barbaros Bozbey. The The Cavern Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barbaros Bozbey should have stopped the shot. CAI NEUQUEN's Ermegildo Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Albuquerque in the 97th minute of play.
