In the 17th minute, Biagio Scoca fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Elon-Reeve Muška made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Scoca in the 18th minute of play. FENERBAHÇE were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Foot Ball Club di Roma's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lapurdi Jaramillo took the corner. The corner ended in Victor Hugo Guerra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alvaro Pardini did a great save. 25 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Scoca came free, but Elon-Reeve Muška reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Yağız Ergünay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FENERBAHÇE's Tekin Doğanlar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bryan Cristante, made in the 29th minute of the game. Alvaro Pardini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ege Kerimhan in the 29th minute of the match. If Cankut Sezer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Foot Ball Club di Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Lapurdi Jaramillo came free, but Alvaro Pardini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Ege Kerimhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Pardini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Ege Kerimhan ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Pardini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Ege Kerimhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 57th match minute, FENERBAHÇE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lapurdi Jaramillo to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes Foot Ball Club di Roma got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Cristante. Alvaro Pardini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Ege Kerimhan in the 80th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Gianluca Mancini threw the ball into play from the sideline. FENERBAHÇE's Tekin Doğanlar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. FENERBAHÇE's Tekin Doğanlar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gianluca Mancini in the 89 minute of the game. Alvaro Pardini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ege Kerimhan in the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Lapurdi Jaramillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. FENERBAHÇE's supporters rose to their feet, but Lapurdi Jaramillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Pardini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The FENERBAHÇE players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Foot Ball Club di Roma from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
