Spectators: 7611 (Terracing: 5793, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 42) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jude Monkhouse took the kick off in the first half of the match. Aloísio Secco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 3rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gustaf Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jude Monkhouse in the 10th minute of play. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jude Monkhouse sped through Gladiator FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustaf Albohm. In the 18th minute Delmiro Licerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaf Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Paiva in the 20th minute of play. Gustaf Albohm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jude Monkhouse's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Várzea F.C. got a corner. Gladiator FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aloísio Secco ran over to the corner to take the kick. Várzea F.C.'s Aloísio Secco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gustaf Albohm in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 23rd minute of the match, Antonio Lovera tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlos Augusto Quintal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 25th minute, Carlo Taranto made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Augusto Quintal. Várzea F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gustaf Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anderson Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Simos Seretis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Rogério Saldanha made a precise shot to the right of Gustaf Albohm. Gladiator FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Gustaf Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anderson Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaf Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Paiva in the 45th minute of play. Gustaf Albohm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Saldanha in the 47th minute of the match.

Gladiator FC's Konstantin Butylin was substituted for Antonio Lovera. In the 53rd minute, Várzea F.C.'s Jude Monkhouse dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Konstantin Butylin might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Augusto Quintal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Konstantin Butylin ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Butylin came free, but Carlos Augusto Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantin Butylin in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Carlo Taranto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Várzea F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Várzea F.C.'s Jude Monkhouse looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gladiator FC's Ulf-Hendrik Bech was substituted for Luisão Tepedino. Carlos Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Taranto in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Konstantin Butylin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Augusto Quintal was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 74th minute Jude Monkhouse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Gladiator FC's Konstantin Butylin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Augusto Quintal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustaf Albohm was a little too slow when Jude Monkhouse got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-5. Várzea F.C.'s Dé Montenegro was substituted for Jude Monkhouse. Delmiro Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Várzea F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
