After 9 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Albert Paulíny. Jermaine Richmond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulius Rožėnas in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Brandão in the 13th minute of play forced Khachatryan's goalkeeper Jermaine Richmond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jermaine Richmond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mar Cheze in the 17th minute of the match. If Merlin Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Vilmantas Kalinauskas came free, but Jermaine Richmond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khachatryan's Jermaine Richmond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mar Cheze in the 32nd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's Sung McKinley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Max Limont narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hexo Utd's Paulius Rožėnas got a free kick in the 41st minute. Max Limont made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Merlin Castro sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulius Rožėnas in the 46th minute of play forced Khachatryan's goalkeeper Jermaine Richmond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulius Rožėnas to make the kick off. In the 50th minute Paulius Rožėnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jermaine Richmond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Khachatryan defense, Paulius Rožėnas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jermaine Richmond. The Khachatryan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jermaine Richmond should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Jermaine Richmond successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Merlin Castro in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Limont prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulius Rožėnas got free with Jermaine Richmond in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute Paulius Rožėnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jermaine Richmond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khachatryan made a substitution. Hu Wei Shu replaced Tigran Kirakosyan. After 61 minutes Khachatryan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mar Cheze who took care of the corner kick. Hexo Utd's Mar Cheze was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jermaine Richmond in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Paulius Rožėnas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute Khachatryan were awarded a corner. Merlin Castro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Merlin Castro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hexo Utd's Max Limont did a great save. Jermaine Richmond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulius Rožėnas in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goalkeeper Jermaine Richmond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mar Cheze. After a rather tough play, Hexo Utd's Adolfo Brandão got a free kick in the 70th minute. Hexo Utd's Jarūnas Saponka was substituted for Adolfo Brandão. In the 71st minute, Adolfo Brandão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vytautas Baikštys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hexo Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulius Rožėnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jermaine Richmond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Hu Wei Shu. Mar Cheze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hexo Utd eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
