Benny Niva started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atlético Minuano! Atlético Minuano:s Yuri Loureiro showed great skill when he stopped Bernardino Rosio:s penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Minuano's zone, Benny Niva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Loureiro came out of the goal and Benny Niva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcel Reis hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, Atlético Minuano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Kaczeniak to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Benny Niva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benny Niva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yuri Loureiro having to make a save. With a little luck, Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio got control of the ball when Nicolas Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper Zacarias Ascencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominik Piglowski. In the 40th minute, Benny Niva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuri Loureiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 47 minutes into the game, Benny Niva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Yuri Loureiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

After a rather tough play, Atlético Minuano's Alfredinho Aparecido got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Zacarias Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Aparecido in the 58th minute of play. Celta de Virgos made a substitution. David Astudillo replaced Benny Niva. Celta de Virgos's Filip Leucuța was substituted for Biagio Pavlu. Celta de Virgos made a substitution. Dario Elivareo replaced Ruben Gomez. After 60 minutes Celta de Virgos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dominik Piglowski who took care of the corner kick. Atlético Minuano's Mathias Ortiz was substituted for Alfredinho Aparecido. After a rather tough play, Atlético Minuano's Nicolas Romero got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Zacarias Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Piglowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Astudillo in the 80th minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Mathias Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Zacarias Ascencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yuri Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Astudillo in the 87th minute of play. In the 87thth minute of the game David Astudillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Minuano's Yuri Loureiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Astudillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Yuri Loureiro made a huge save. David Astudillos short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Yuri Loureiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. David Astudillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yuri Loureiro having to make a save.
