Tristan Franquis came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Diamante Negro DK - VV's Vinícius Servaes. But to his dismay, Vinícius Servaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The throw-in from Wincent Kanczuszewski in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Diamante Negro DK - VV's Willian Félix. Vinícius Servaes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristan Franquis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcos Cruz was slow to take the kick. During this time Diamante Negro DK - VV's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Marcos Cruz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tristan Franquis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The tension between the Imperio Catatumbo de Lara and the Diamante Negro DK - VV players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Bruno Moneda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogério Ceni was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Vinícius Servaes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diamante Negro DK - VV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Tristan Franquis was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Willian Félix capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Willian Félix really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Willian Félix took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Tristan Franquis to make any attempt to save it. Diamante Negro DK - VV made a substitution. Hugo Zonta replaced Victor Silva. In the 92nd minute, Bonifaco Barril hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tristan Franquis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 93rd minute of play. Vinícius Servaes might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tristan Franquis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vinícius Servaes ran back to his position shaking his head. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Tristan Franquis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Servaes in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Diamante Negro DK - VV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
