Jabones Tocadores's Alípio Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Jabones Tocadores from getting a goal against them. Ladislao Bartoleme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Acevedo having to interfere. In the 26th minute Domenico Checchia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alípio Torres made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Cristóvão de Barros sent off a good shot on target. Orlando Mena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maximino Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Mena in the 34th minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match, Luiz Guilherme Melo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alípio Torres was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
