With a couple of smart ball manuevers Márk Kovács in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pastor Firman saved Club Sportivo Quilmes from getting behind. If Sebastian Verón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Templars FC's Ritchie Engelborgh quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Silverio Chuan, made in the 36th minute of the game. Sebastian Verón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Verón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Courtois having to interfere.

The wind increased when Radomil Mietus made the kick off in the second half. Silverio Chuan charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silverio Chuan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Club Sportivo Quilmes got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Chuan. André Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Ponk in the 60th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Radomil Mietus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Firman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Apelqvist in the 87th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Staffan Apelqvist came free, but Pastor Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pastor Firman came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Templars FC's Staffan Apelqvist. But to his dismay, Staffan Apelqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Templars FC made a substitution. Jonathan Sammut replaced Márk Kovács. Templars FC's Benedict Cumberbatch was substituted for Osvaldo Alvarenga. Templars FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
