Atay Türegün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wágner Recife's late challenge caught a Harsh Gods's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wágner Recife helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Eendracht Vooruit got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Recife. Diederick Imbrechs kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Roberto Carlos struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Atay Türegün didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harsh Gods. Atay Türegün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wágner Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Tommi Armentier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Eendracht Vooruit getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Mihai Encea hit a great ball. Atay Türegün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Numan Afak in the 91st minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Eendracht Vooruit walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
