In the 17th minute of the match, Pablo Solari tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Martin Crețu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cervezanegra A.C.'s Filiberto Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Ming Sheng in the 35th minute of play. Stiinta-Univ.'s Martin Crețu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Goicoechea in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Ming Sheng in the 84th minute of play forced Cervezanegra A.C.'s goalkeeper Filiberto Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Jaime Peruxu in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Stiinta-Univ.'s Aurel Panait. Shi Ming Sheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Filiberto Oso made a huge save. After 90 played minutes Cervezanegra A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dževad Kasimović. Shi Ming Sheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Filiberto Oso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Alfonso Goicoechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Crețu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Crețu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Solari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Stiinta-Univ. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cervezanegra A.C. throughout the match.
