An unexpectedly hard shot by Xorxe Canosa in the 5th minute of play forced Tapa Athlétic™'s goalkeeper Heigo Mustkivi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Xorxe Canosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heigo Mustkivi was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Xorxe Canosa scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heigo Mustkivi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Xorxe Canosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Tony Thanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heigo Mustkivi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Machu Picchu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jim Morrison in the 26th minute. Heigo Mustkivi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xorxe Canosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tanek Zurawski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vahur Nirk, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to Machu Picchu getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Xorxe Canosa hit a great ball. Hando Laaneoks got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Samuel Cordarell. 35 minutes into the match, Xorxe Canosa notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Tapa Athlétic™'s Heigo Mustkivi. Heigo Mustkivi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samuel Cordarell came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tanek Zurawski could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 42nd minute of play forced Machu Picchu's goalkeeper Tanek Zurawski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanek Zurawski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalju Palk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mugurel Chiriloaie got free with Tanek Zurawski in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Tapa Athlétic™ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Machu Picchu were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Xorxe Canosa made the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Kalju Palk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Machu Picchu's Tanek Zurawski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xorxe Canosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heigo Mustkivi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xorxe Canosa ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, Machu Picchu's Xorxe Canosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heigo Mustkivi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xorxe Canosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heigo Mustkivi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xorxe Canosa ran back to his position shaking his head. That made the score 0-4 after 70 minutes of play. Tapa Athlétic™ made a substitution. Paulino Oyarzún replaced Gheorghiţă Hagi. Machu Picchu's Abuzer İmge was substituted for Hayrullah Özgun. In the 75th match minute, Machu Picchu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dom Lugano to maneuver through the defense. If Xorxe Canosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xorxe Canosa in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Heigo Mustkivi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Xorxe Canosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heigo Mustkivi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xorxe Canosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Xorxe Canosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Heigo Mustkivi made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Paulino Oyarzún left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tapa Athlétic™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. In the 95th minute, Xorxe Canosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Machu Picchu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
