The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, HİSAR's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Li came free, but Edvin Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Galati Harbour Cats from getting a goal against them. Shi Li might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvin Lundgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shi Li ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Li in the 9th minute of play forced HİSAR's goalkeeper Edvin Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare got control of the ball when Güvenç Deveci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvin Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Li in the 17th minute of the match. Güvenç Deveci might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octavian Soare. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Güvenç Deveci ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Güvenç Deveci came free, but Octavian Soare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Güvenç Deveci to make the kick off. Galati Harbour Cats were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after HİSAR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dan Petrescu took the corner. After taking down the ball on Galati Harbour Cats's corner Dan Petrescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edvin Lundgren quite easily take care of the ball. Uluç Erben kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, HİSAR's goalkeeper Edvin Lundgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shi Li. In the 80th minute, Antoni Dembkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shi Li got free with Edvin Lundgren in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Güvenç Deveci blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavian Soare having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güvenç Deveci in the 86th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. HİSAR's Güvenç Deveci got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
