In the 2nd match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Berkowitz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Flames FC booed when Lex Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miloslav Krupička didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tao Xi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomáš Houdek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Lopes in the 11th minute of play. Tao Xi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Novaes in the 15th minute. When Flames FC's Alican İçten in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lex Academy's goalie prevented a goal. Diego Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Alican İçten came free, but Tomáš Houdek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomáš Houdek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alican İçten, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, Flames FC's Tao Xi got control of the ball when Bernardo Novaes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rosario Moyer kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Bernardo Novaes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tao Xi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Tomáš Houdek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alican İçten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Lex Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mojmír Houška to maneuver through the defense. When Jakkapan Jomsak fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flames FC's protests and gave Jakkapan Jomsak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, one of Flames FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Flames FC. Flames FC:s Tao Xi showed great skill when he stopped Roman Jursa:s penalty.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Novaes made a kick off. Tao Xi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Novaes in the 53rd minute of the match. When David Berkowitz fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flames FC's protests and gave David Berkowitz a yellow card for diving instead. David Berkowitz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Flames FC's zone, Mojmír Houška stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tao Xi came out of the goal and Mojmír Houška tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tao Xi came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Lex Academy's Bernardo Novaes. But to his dismay, Bernardo Novaes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Flames FC made a substitution. Camille Trudeau replaced Echedey Lyon. Flames FC's Miguel Campos was substituted for Arturo Di Girolamo. In the 73rd minute, Bernardo Novaes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tao Xi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 77th minute, Amat Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Genaro Serapio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Novaes in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tao Xi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 minutes Flames FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roman Jursa who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Lex Academy's corner Roman Jursa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tao Xi quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Lopes in the 86th minute of play forced Lex Academy's goalkeeper Tomáš Houdek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Diego Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Bernardo Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tao Xi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Flames FC's goalkeeper Tao Xi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lex Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roman Jursa in the 93rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lex Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Flames FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
