The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Randers A.F.C.'s Rene Rostholm got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nichlas Vesterdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raigo Vananurm in the 22nd minute of play. Edward Krzynowek hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute of the match, Rene Rostholm tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Naldo Proença saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nichlas Vesterdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Krzynowek in the 27th minute of play. Naldo Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Rostholm in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Raigo Vananurm came free, but Nichlas Vesterdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scarlet Speedster's João Severino was substituted for Váldson Bittencourt. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Mendonça in the 89th minute of the match. The supporters of Scarlet Speedster booed when Randers A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Børge Buhr didn't get a good kick on the ball.
