Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Ariel Balboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of U. de Tarapacá booed when The White Star WK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Frantzes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Zagrobelny came free, but Ariel Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ovidio Frantzes fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The White Star WK's protests and gave Ovidio Frantzes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to The White Star WK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ovidio Frantzes hit a great ball. Mariusz Kajdasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orfilio Orbañanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute of the match U. de Tarapacá got a corner. The White Star WK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafael Demanet ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Orfilio Orbañanos managed to get in a good position for a shot. U. de Tarapacá's supporters rose to their feet, but Orfilio Orbañanos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariusz Kajdasz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind The White Star WK's goalkeeper Mariusz Kajdasz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The White Star WK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because U. de Tarapacá had won, even though The White Star WK had held more of the ball.
