A collision led to ΠΑΟΚ FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Björn Kamp hit a great ball. In the 5th match minute, Ripa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Frederico to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Silva. After 16 played minutes Ripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Frederico. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotiris Zacharakis in the 18th minute of play. Santiago Silva took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldo Mannie. Aldo Mannie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gustav Kock made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Santiago Silva however managed to control. If Gu Chang Peng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gu Chang Peng took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingvar Nykvist. Ingvar Nykvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 45th match minute, Ripa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gu Chang Peng to maneuver through the defense. ΠΑΟΚ FC made a substitution. Savas Karameris replaced Ronaldão Mendonça.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Petros Mirtsos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aldo Mannie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ΠΑΟΚ FC reached it. Aldo Mannie came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by ΠΑΟΚ FC's Santiago Silva. But to his dismay, Santiago Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Ingvar Nykvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gu Chang Peng scored 2-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ingvar Nykvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Vassilis Bitsikas was substituted for Thanasis Kanavos. With a little luck, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Ingvar Nykvist got control of the ball when Ricardo Bochini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ingvar Nykvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Bochini in the 87th minute of the match. Zheng Yang Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franz Grassme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Bochini came free, but Ingvar Nykvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Ripa FC were awarded a corner. Placido Pero went to the cornerflag to take it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
