The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ozan Heybetli was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Gao Wei Fei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Wichniarek during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, Fariz Nair ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sixten Tunander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Garusov in the 28th minute of play forced FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goalkeeper Sixten Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Leon Ferfecki threw the ball into play from the sideline. Goral Zywiec's Mariusz Zalipski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sixten Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fariz Nair in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Ozan Heybetli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fariz Nair succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. When Goral Zywiec's Fariz Nair in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Michael Krawczyk came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Ozan Heybetli. But to his dismay, Ozan Heybetli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Stefan Lewicki kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Goral Zywiec's zone, Ozan Heybetli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Krawczyk came out of the goal and Ozan Heybetli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Sverker Byström was substituted for Sarracino De la Rosa. Goral Zywiec made a substitution. Zula Nowacki replaced Tanek Nowacki. Goral Zywiec's attentive Gilbert Glogowski managed to snatch the ball when Hannes Kempenaerts made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Goral Zywiec's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfred Ewertowski in the 75th minute. After taking down the ball on Goral Zywiec's corner Alfred Ewertowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sixten Tunander quite easily take care of the ball. Sixten Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fariz Nair in the 77th minute of play. Ozan Heybetli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozan Heybetli in the 82nd minute of play forced Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Michael Krawczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hannes Kempenaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Beniamin Zarobski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sixten Tunander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Fariz Nair left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goral Zywiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Goral Zywiec walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
