Spectators: 8457 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) Cengizhan Baycan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cengizhan Baycan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Liviu Enoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Cengizhan Baycan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Enoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bran Allison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucrețiu Sântimbrean in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Liviu Enoiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Cengizhan Baycan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cactos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Cengizhan Baycan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liviu Enoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Trezeguet in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Cormoranii -MM- defense, Cengizhan Baycan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Liviu Enoiu. The Cormoranii -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liviu Enoiu should have stopped the shot. Bran Allison was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eugen Boldur showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 34 minute of play. A collision led to Cormoranii -MM- getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Vintilă Hălmăgeanu hit a great ball. When Dorival de Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cactos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorival de Carvalho couldn't finish the play. After the first half Cactos were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugen Boldur to strike the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Eugen Boldur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cormoranii -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cactos the free kick. Roberto Perfumo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Dorival de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cactos's Bran Allison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Boldur in the 54th minute of play. Cactos made a substitution. Luisinho Maciel replaced Cengizhan Baycan. After 58 played minutes Cormoranii -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gary Kasparov. The audience was convinced that Luisinho Maciel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liviu Enoiu was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Cormoranii -MM-'s Liviu Enoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Maciel in the 62nd minute of play. Liviu Enoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Maciel in the 64th minute of play. Cactos made a substitution. Matias Gaitan replaced Dorival de Carvalho. Luisinho Maciel in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Liviu Enoiu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Cactos getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Nando Leal hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Valer Uduleanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bran Allison showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cactos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
