The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Kruuse got free with Tony Githinji Muhoho in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taşçıspor's Tony Githinji Muhoho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Taşçıspor from getting a goal against them. Fırat Aytekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akın Turhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Johannes Kruuse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Githinji Muhoho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Burhanettin Ertüze hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Johannes Kruuse might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tony Githinji Muhoho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Kruuse ran back to his position shaking his head. Johannes Kruuse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Tony Githinji Muhoho made a huge save. Fırat Aytekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahmi Şerafeddin in the 19th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Rahmi Şerafeddin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fırat Aytekin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Johannes Kruuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Githinji Muhoho having to interfere. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Roland in the 30th minute of play. Fırat Aytekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kylian Charreton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes S.C. Corinthians Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho Cosme. In the 34th minute of the match Akın Turhan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fırat Aytekin skillfully saved the ball. Fırat Aytekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Roland in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Kylian Charreton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fırat Aytekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Johannes Kruuse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Taşçıspor's Rolando Roland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fırat Aytekin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kylian Charreton was the one to do the kick off. Tony Githinji Muhoho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Kruuse in the 54th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akın Turhan in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fırat Aytekin saved S.C. Corinthians Paulista from getting behind. Taşçıspor were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after S.C. Corinthians Paulista's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Akın Turhan took the corner. In the 64th match minute, S.C. Corinthians Paulista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Fırat Aytekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kylian Charreton in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Johannes Kruuse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Corinthians Paulista fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. S.C. Corinthians Paulista made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Køng in the 73rd minute of play forced S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Fırat Aytekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S.C. Corinthians Paulista! When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Taşçıspor's Rolando Roland got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fırat Aytekin. Camillo Giandomenico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 99th minute, Evandro Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
