Spectators: 10871 (Terracing: 8154, Seating: 2500, VIP seats: 217) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Froilan Reyes started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's Froilan Reyes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anders Lundqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Parque Europa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel Ryynänen in the 7th minute. The corner ended in Samuel Ryynänen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist did a great save. 10 minutes into the match, Loco Durazno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Täger. Parque Europa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loco Durazno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luis Täger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loco Durazno's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Anders Lundqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Froilan Reyes went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Nyström in the 19th minute of play forced Parque Europa FC's goalkeeper Luis Täger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Lundqvist was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Froilan Reyes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Froilan Reyes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. 31 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Nyström came free, but Luis Täger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Froilan Reyes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Anders Lundqvist made a huge save. Bebben Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Luis Täger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of Parque Europa FC booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loco Durazno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Froilan Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mats Nyström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loco Durazno got free with Luis Täger in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Täger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Nyström came free, but Luis Täger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loco Duraznos short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Luis Täger to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Parque Europa FC made a substitution. Rogelio Mendiola replaced Yannick Bartz. Golden Lions FC's Cosme Larpe was substituted for Mats Nyström. Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan was substituted for Loco Durazno. Atauri Flores made in the 74th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Coronel Castro. If Burç Tokhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aureliano Soto scored 5-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anders Lundqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Soto in the 85th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Aureliano Soto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute Golden Lions FC were awarded a corner. Joakim Haegg went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Joakim Haegg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luis Täger quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Golden Lions FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
