Tristan Franquis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Louis Alebio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristan Franquis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, AJ Juventus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leoncio Abarzua to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Castulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The wind increased when Bruno Moneda made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Imperio Catatumbo de Lara got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Velloso. If Leoncio Abarzua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Feng Chuan Liang fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's protests and gave Feng Chuan Liang a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Feng Chuan Liang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tristan Franquis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Alebio in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's zone, Louis Alebio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tristan Franquis came out of the goal and Louis Alebio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Louis Alebio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tristan Franquis was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After 92 minutes, Benja Villaraud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AJ Juventus FC and the Imperio Catatumbo de Lara players grew even worse after the yellow card.
