Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Enmanuel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Victor Idacio hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Adrian Vătavu charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Vătavu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Adrian Vătavu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Cassaretto took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Enmanuel. Leonardo Enmanuel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Roque Iturri had several of the CD Municipal's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed George Forsyth as he didn't even see the shot coming. Leonardo Enmanuel came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto. But to his dismay, Enrique Cassaretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 19 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Federico Puja. 22 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of C.A.I Somos Nosotros's Leonardo Enmanuel. Leonardo Enmanuel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 26 minutes of play, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Enmanuel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Humberto Savier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but George Forsyth made a huge save. With a little luck, CD Municipal's George Forsyth got control of the ball when Roque Iturri tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cristobal Belarmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Cassaretto scored 1-5 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Enmanuel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrique Cassaretto scored 1-6 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Enmanuel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Enmanuel. C.A.I Somos Nosotros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Cassaretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Enrique Cassaretto took a quick shot and it went in 1-9 without a chance for Leonardo Enmanuel to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the C.A.I Somos Nosotros defense, Enrique Cassaretto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Enmanuel. The C.A.I Somos Nosotros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Enmanuel should have stopped the shot. CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi was substituted for Zlatan Molina. Roque Iturri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Forsyth having to make a save. Oalo Deans short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Leonardo Enmanuel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. C.A.I Somos Nosotros's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Oalo Dean scored to the left of an out of position Leonardo Enmanuel, making the score, 1-11. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Vistruario, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. With a little luck, C.A.I Somos Nosotros's Leonardo Enmanuel got control of the ball when Ryota Miyagi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ryota Miyagi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Leonardo Enmanuel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. C.A.I Somos Nosotros's Leonardo Enmanuel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.I Somos Nosotros from getting a goal against them. Leonardo Enmanuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryota Miyagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Martino Armona. A collision led to C.A.I Somos Nosotros getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cristobal Belarmo hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CD Municipal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
