Pete Luna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Nyström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Björkqvist got a throw-in 6 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marcelo Steven. Pete Luna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute of the game Joschi Hook made a throw-in which Marcelo Steven played forward. 15 minutes into the match, Loco Durazno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pete Luna. Joga Hem FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loco Durazno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 23 minutes into the game, Igor Dzierwa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Joga Hem FC's Hong Yao Peng quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Joga Hem FC's Bilgin Erol got a free kick in the 24th minute. Anders Lundqvist was a little too slow when Urban Wennerquist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 31st minute, Mats Nyström made a precise shot to the right of Pete Luna. Joga Hem FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Joga Hem FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mehmet Ersman in the 36th minute. Pete Luna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 37th minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pete Luna made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Georg Termander sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 63 minutes, Mats Nyström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Nyström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arne Tönnberg hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Cosme Larpe replaced Georg Termander. The supporters of Joga Hem FC booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Tönnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burç Tokhan in the 69th minute of play forced Joga Hem FC's goalkeeper Pete Luna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Byth in the 83rd minute of the match. David Israel Blue scored 2-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anders Lundqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Byth in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's Mats Nyström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pete Luna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Burç Tokhan struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Pete Luna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Lions FC.
Golden Lions FC played a much better game than Joga Hem FC and deserved their victory. The Joga Hem FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
