The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Älta BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tercero Imperiale came free, but David Trulsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Tercero Imperiale dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Trulsson, 1-0. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Azuela having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, JELINEBERG's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink came free, but Paolo Azuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tor Skytt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but David Trulsson made a huge save. In the 21stth minute of the game Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JELINEBERG's Paolo Azuela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Elin in the 25th minute of play forced Älta BK's goalkeeper David Trulsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Azuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Veerman in the 30th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, Älta BK's Henk Veerman made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paolo Azuela was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Trulsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tercero Imperiale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Trulsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tor Skytt went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henk Veerman to make the kick off. David Trulsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tercero Imperiale in the 50th minute of the match. Henk Veerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tor Skytt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Azuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 58th minute of play. David Trulsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tercero Imperiale, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. JELINEBERG's Paolo Azuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 70th minute of play. Älta BK's David Trulsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tercero Imperiale in the 74th minute of play. Paolo Azuela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute Alfons Gregersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Azuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of JELINEBERG booed when Älta BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfons Gregersson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
