The referee ignored MAZER SAF's protests and gave Bernardinho Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute Bernardinho Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adalberto Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matheus Donelli made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Gil dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. Ángel Romero struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Charles Sarmento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAZER SAF. Erasmo Mesquita lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 44th minute, one of MAZER SAF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MAZER SAF. MAZER SAF:s Matheus Donelli showed great skill when he stopped Kléberson de Amaral:s penalty.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gil dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Gil dos Santos notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of MAZER SAF's Matheus Donelli. Matheus Donelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matheus Donelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute.
