Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Brazil's Maurinho Mendonça started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Armando Cerezo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dida Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Bernardinho Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Martins having to interfere. If Saulão Chettle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caetano Paranaense made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Elder Donatello. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joris Scheer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armando Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Mendonça in the 52nd minute of play. S.C.CHUÍ made a substitution. Jonas Zanette replaced Adalberto Soeiro. In the 62nd minute Maurinho Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.C.CHUÍ's Armando Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Vianna in the 85th minute of play. Júlio Teles tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Armando Cerezo. An unnecessary self made goal, 6-0 in the 86th minute. Armando Cerezo came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Brazil's Clayton Gol. But to his dismay, Clayton Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After some careless play in the S.C.CHUÍ defense, Marco Vianna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Cerezo. The S.C.CHUÍ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Cerezo should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Brazil were the better team. Brazil's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
