S.C.CHUÍ's Joris Scheer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Brazil's goal looked a bit too open when Joris Scheer came free, but Dida Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Brazil's Maurinho Mendonça fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Maurinho Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Cerezo having to make a save. Maurinho Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Armando Cerezo made a huge save. When Brazil's Maurinho Mendonça in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.C.CHUÍ's goalie prevented a goal. A nice corner shot did that Maurinho Mendonça got away a dangerous shot. A sloppy throw-in by Adalberto Soeiro in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Brazil's Saulão Chettle. Brazil's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Morales Moreira in the 27th minute. Dida Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joris Scheer, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Maurinho Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The S.C.CHUÍ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Cerezo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Vianna in the 97th minute of play forced S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Armando Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Vianna in the 98th minute of the match. Brazil's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
