The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Keepers booed when Club 23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Voicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Keepers defense, Cássio Dracena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lloyd Dingle. The Keepers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lloyd Dingle should have stopped the shot. In the 14th match minute, Keepers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Garrett to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Golo Gana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lloyd Dingle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Druțu Pavel during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Club 23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Druțu Pavel to maneuver through the defense. Lloyd Dingle made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Cássio Dracena sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Steven Burnett during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Keepers getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Steven Burnett hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Golo Gana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lloyd Dingle was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 40 played minutes Club 23 got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Dracena. After having played for 46 minutes, Ferdinand Voicu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club 23's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Voicu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ty Bond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lloyd Dingle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Ciolofan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Doru Ciuvică kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Club 23's Petre Ciolofan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lloyd Dingle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Cássio Dracena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Lloyd Dingle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lloyd Dingle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Ciolofan, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Keepers's Lloyd Dingle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Ciolofan in the 81st minute of play. Club 23's Golo Gana got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Robescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Robescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lloyd Dingle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lloyd Dingle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Golo Gana, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Club 23's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
