The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Ermengol Alberete managed to get in a good position for a shot. Socavon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermengol Alberete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Täger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Parque Europa FC's zone, Enrique Peña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Täger came out of the goal and Enrique Peña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Parque Europa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel Ryynänen in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's goalkeeper Sindo Porregimon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Froilan Reyes. Luis Täger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermengol Alberete in the 23rd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Thomás Pollack threw the ball into play from the sideline. Parque Europa FC's Emanuel Löfkvist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 31 minutes into the game, Froilan Reyes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sindo Porregimon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Janis Petko got a throw-in 34 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ermengol Alberete. Sindo Porregimon made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Froilan Reyes sent off a good shot on target. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Socavon FC's goalie and right to Saul Gomesano. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Socavon FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 42 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Peña came free, but Luis Täger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's Froilan Reyes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sindo Porregimon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luis Täger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Peña in the 45th minute of play. Sindo Porregimon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Froilan Reyes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Sindo Porregimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Reyes in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Reyes in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sindo Porregimon saved Socavon FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Reyes in the 59th minute of play forced Socavon FC's goalkeeper Sindo Porregimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Reyes might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sindo Porregimon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Froilan Reyes ran back to his position shaking his head. Socavon FC made a substitution. Jacindo Oria replaced Thomás Pollack. Parque Europa FC's Aureliano Soto was substituted for Froilan Reyes. Parque Europa FC made a substitution. Rogelio Mendiola replaced Yannick Bartz. Parque Europa FC made a substitution. Coronel Castro replaced Saul Gomesano. Luis Täger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermengol Alberete in the 71st minute of play. Luis Täger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artal Baltanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Marquez Dolarea charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marquez Dolarea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Socavon FC got a freekick which was hit by Marquez Dolarea. Socavon FC's Bernaldo Maquibar was substituted for Marquez Dolarea. Marquez Dolarea kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Castro in the 80th minute of play forced Socavon FC's goalkeeper Sindo Porregimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artal Baltanas came free, but Luis Täger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sindo Porregimon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Soto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sindo Porregimon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Soto's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Luis Täger made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Ksawery Furgal sent off a good shot on target. Rogelio Mendiola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sindo Porregimon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Coronel Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Parque Europa FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
