Denis Paulin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Defensores de Lombroso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Godfredo Gau in the 47th minute. In the 47th minute, Ubaldo Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Ovidio Jokin replaced Roman Riquelme. A collision led to Defensores de Lombroso getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Ubaldo Gelacio hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The supporters of Defensores de Lombroso booed when Egchelheides was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Hellemons didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Paulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孟海棋 in the 97th minute of play. Denis Paulin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clarke Travers in the 98th minute of the match. Celso Sauveur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Defensores de Lombroso fully deserved thier win.
