After 13 played minutes Lyons got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Salvadore. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boleslaw Zielinski in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Barcaiztegui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to ¨Los Matadores¨ getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tomas Munio hit a great ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind ¨Los Matadores¨'s goalkeeper Franco Barcaiztegui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lyons's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcos Berasko in the 28th minute. Lyons's Jose Satordi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Franco Barcaiztegui in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Franco Barcaiztegui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boleslaw Zielinski in the 31st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Boleslaw Zielinski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franco Barcaiztegui. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Boleslaw Zielinski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Barcaiztegui was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. If Boleslaw Zielinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

¨Los Matadores¨ made a substitution. Clodoveo Efraim replaced Aatif Kareef. Boleslaw Zielinski scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franco Barcaiztegui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boleslaw Zielinski in the 60th minute of play forced ¨Los Matadores¨'s goalkeeper Franco Barcaiztegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Barcaiztegui didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boleslaw Zielinski went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Dariusz Roano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Franco Barcaiztegui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Roano in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87thth minute of the game Dariusz Roano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ¨Los Matadores¨'s Franco Barcaiztegui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franco Barcaiztegui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Roano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Dariusz Roano notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of ¨Los Matadores¨'s Franco Barcaiztegui. Franco Barcaiztegui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute of the match Wambasther Piqué sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franco Barcaiztegui skillfully saved the ball. Dariusz Roano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. ¨Los Matadores¨'s Franco Barcaiztegui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Roano in the 97th minute of play. Lyons walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
