When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Willian Félix put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edoardo Mauro. Vinícius Servaes might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edoardo Mauro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexis Sánchez in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Ceni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the game, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Vinícius Servaes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edoardo Mauro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Edoardo Mauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa di Molvena FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcos Cruz was slow to take the kick. During this time Diamante Negro DK - VV's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Diamante Negro DK - VV's Willian Félix getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Diamante Negro DK - VV booed when Villa di Molvena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position.
