With a little luck, SζλR∃ ∀Γ∀Γ ♥'s Stefan Czeszyk got control of the ball when Alexis Sánchez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franco Vulcano made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SζλR∃ ∀Γ∀Γ ♥'s Melih Hacıoğlu. Edoardo Mauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Kilberg in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the Villa di Molvena FC defense, Zula Bugno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edoardo Mauro. The Villa di Molvena FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edoardo Mauro should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zula Bugno was the one to do the kick off. Edoardo Mauro was a little too slow when Zula Bugno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-2. Edoardo Mauro made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Zula Bugno sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa di Molvena FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anders Kilberg was slow to take the kick. During this time SζλR∃ ∀Γ∀Γ ♥'s players had a chance to rest. Edoardo Mauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Bugno, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Edoardo Mauro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the match, Villa di Molvena FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Bugno came free, but Edoardo Mauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
