ALMA GUERREIRA's Cauan Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pocho Lavezzi in the 6th minute of play. In the 13th minute Delfim Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Soter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, ALMA GUERREIRA's Delfim Araújo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Soter was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Montenegro got free with David Soter in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Chiquinho Alagoano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GUTIERREZ SC's David Soter did a great save. Delfim Araújo might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Soter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delfim Araújo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Araújo in the 20th minute of play forced GUTIERREZ SC's goalkeeper David Soter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GUTIERREZ SC's David Soter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Araújo in the 22nd minute of play. David Soter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Amador Misael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Chiquinho Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALMA GUERREIRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Chiquinho Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Soter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Frits Frang got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 37 minutes into the match. Cauan Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pocho Lavezzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. David Soter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Araújo in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Soriano made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, ALMA GUERREIRA's Delfim Araújo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Soter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Delfim Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, GUTIERREZ SC's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Araújo came free, but David Soter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Soter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delfim Araújo went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. ALMA GUERREIRA made a substitution. José San Martín replaced Delfim Araújo. Lasse Delvig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. ALMA GUERREIRA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
