Mauro Dos Santos's late challenge caught a Sydney FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Dos Santos to maneuver through the defense.
