Pål Sefastsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Txurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Txurio in the 9th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pål Sefastsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrosio Txurio in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Snow in the 13th minute of play forced SuperChango's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredric Melander in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fernando Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Fernando Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredric Melander's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goal looked a bit too open when Hjalmar Browald came free, but Luiz Fernando Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Txurio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pål Sefastsson having to make a save. Luiz Fernando Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Melander in the 25th minute of play. SuperChango's Luiz Fernando Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Browald in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Txurio. Ambrosio Txurio scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pål Sefastsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ambrosio Txurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johannes Stenqvist made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Henrik Örnberg. Luiz Fernando Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cris Montoia in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Ambrosio Txurio made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the National Team Cape-Verde defense, Ambrosio Txurio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pål Sefastsson. The National Team Cape-Verde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pål Sefastsson should have stopped the shot. 58 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Txurio came free, but Pål Sefastsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on SuperChango's corner Elói Chaves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pål Sefastsson quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ambrosio Txurio managed to get in a good position for a shot. SuperChango's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Txurio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Sefastsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in National Team Cape-Verde's zone, Ambrosio Txurio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pål Sefastsson came out of the goal and Ambrosio Txurio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casimiro Ieltxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Fernando Branco made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Hjalmar Browald sent off a good shot on target. Ambrosio Txurio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Sörman came free, but Luiz Fernando Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Henrik Örnberg in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SuperChango's Luca Puch. National Team Cape-Verde's Johannes Stenqvist got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Johannes Stenqvist off the ground. Johannes Stenqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. National Team Cape-Verde made a substitution. Roland Björklund replaced Karl-Ove Sörman. A collision led to National Team Cape-Verde getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Johannes Stenqvist hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Txurio came free, but Pål Sefastsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Roland Björklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pål Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Txurio in the 95th minute of the match. Roman Jahelka hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Hjalmar Browald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the referee blew the final whistle, SuperChango could leave the field as winners, despite National Team Cape-Verde having more of the ball for most of the match.
