Wambasther Robben took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sidney Motta. Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sidney Motta was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Thiago Hudson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thiago Hudson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Berenguer Anda was substituted for Válbson Pimenta. 62 minutes into the game, Rogério da Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rômulo Neiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute Rogério da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mukifus FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The throw-in from Fabian Balbuena in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mukifus FSCMZ's Jaime Carro. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Sidney Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Hudson in the 86th minute of play. Jaime Carro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Sidney Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Hudson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Mukifus FSCMZ's Thiago Hudson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sidney Motta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4.

The Mukifus FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mukifus FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
